Project THUONG: Youth 4 Vietnam, with the support of VAO,  aims to help the Vietnamese community in Vietnam, particularly students in Vinh Long, who have minimal access to basic necessities like school and medical supplies.

Many kids around our age in Vietnam are not attending school but rather are working to provide for their families. It is very common to see teenagers and kids that are as young as 5 on the streets selling lottery tickets. The tuition for school is very expensive, however, uniforms and textbooks are even more expensive. It is mandatory that students wear uniforms to school.

We are fundraising for one grade level. The money would be used to pay for students’ uniforms, textbooks, and other essential school supplies.
